Winter Art Raffle

For the winter season this year, Bit-sinna will be our contributing artist. You may purchase as many tickets as you would like using or USD via Paypal if that is your preference. Each ticket will cost 20 and you will be assigned ticket numbers as you purchase them. You do not have to be a member of the group to participate in the raffle, so go ahead and spread the word to all of your friends.

This raffle is for a custom ACEO commission. One winner will be chosen using random.org to pick the winning raffle ticket number. Once the winner is selected, we will note them about the details to get to the artist right away, and in a month's time you shall have your prize!

The last day to get a raffle ticket will be SUNDAY December 21st.

What is an ACEO?
Answer:
ACEOs are miniature pieces of art that measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2". The acronym "ACEO" stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. They can be original art, print editions or photographs.
The majority of ACEOs are two dimensional, but three dimensional elements may also be incorporated. Pop-ups, books, collages, and sculpture can all be ACEOs as long as they measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2"
ACEOs stemmed off of Artist Trading Cards (ATCs), an idea developed by the artist M.Vänçi Stirnemann. He based the size of ATCs on sports trading cards. ATCs can only be traded or given away. Their purpose is to share art and to encourage creative exchange between artists.
Like ATCs, ACEOs may be made with any media, material, or method as long as they measure 2-1/2" x 3-1/2".
ACEOs are made with the intention to sell. The artist Lisa Luree started the ACEO group on eBay in part to make cards available to collectors.


And we have cleared the "legality" of this raffle with the helpdesk. We were informed that as long as we don't offer currency (real or digital) as a prize our raffle is perfectly acceptable by dA's terms. So enjoy!
